Accounting Assistant

Out of the Box Technology is an Elite QuickBooks Solution Provider (QSP) and a leading national QuickBooks consulting firm. Our motto is “Anything + Everything QuickBooks”, it’s really that simple. We provide our clients with QuickBooks products and data services, recurring accounting services as well as training and consulting. Our rapidly growing company is passionate about helping businesses grow and prosper. We have a need for an Accounting Administrator for our internal cooperate accounting department.

Who we need

If you are analytical, detail oriented, deadline oriented, an excellent multi-tasker, incredibly organized and a hard worker we would like you to join our team! The qualified candidate will be part of a dynamic Accounting and Finance team that supports multiple departments within the company. The Accounting Administrator will support the overall operations of the team by performing a variety of accounting clerical tasks with the upmost accuracy and efficiency. Daily tasks for the Accounting Administrator will include (but not limited to): entering and assigning leads, creating service orders, answering phones, ordering QuickBooks products, creating quotes, accounts receivable and billing.

 

Requirements

  • Experience with working in a variety of software, i.e., QuickBooks and Microsoft Suite
  • Experience with accounts receivable, including collections, monthly statements, and processing credit card payments
  • Multi-phone line phone and customer service experience
  • General accounting/bookkeeping and payroll experience
  • Experience with recording and reconciliation of AR accounts
  • Ability to reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Experience using Intuit/QuickBooks Payroll

Preferred Skills 

  • Intuit/QuickBooks product knowledge
  • Previous experience working remote
  • Expierence with Quickbase, GuideCX, Zoom and Salesforce
