Terms and Conditions

This agreement alone shall govern Out of the Box Technology’ and Customer’s respective rights and responsibilities for all services & products to be performed by Out of the Box Technology. We reserve the right to make changes to this Site and these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Payment Terms

Our standard payment method is ACH. For your convenience, you may pay via credit card and a 2.5% convenience fee will be assessed on all credit card payments.

Please note, in the event of a returned check, a $35 returned check fee and any additional bank handling fees will also apply.

Payments in US dollars are due upon submission of the order.  Payment must be made before products will be provided.

The customer must pay with one of the following: A valid debit or credit card acceptable to Out of the Box Technology (VISA, AMEX or MasterCard), or sufficient funds in a checking or savings account to cover an electronic debit of the payment due.

If your payment and registration information is not accurate, current, and complete and you do not notify us promptly when such information changes, we may suspend or terminate your account and refuse any use of the Services.

If you do not notify us of updates to your payment method (e.g., credit card expiration date), to avoid interruption of the Services, we may participate in programs supported by your card provider (e.g., updater services, recurring billing programs, etc.) to try to update your payment information, and you authorize us to continue billing your account with the updated information that we obtain. Fees for the Services are not eligible for any proration of unused subscriptions or refunds, even if access to the Services is canceled or terminated. After your access to the Services is terminated, you may no longer have access to any of the data or Content in the Services. We suggest you retain your own copies of any data or Content that you may need as Intuit is not responsible for providing you with access to your Content or the Services after any cancellation or termination of this Agreement.

Out of the Box Technology will automatically renew your monthly, quarterly, or annual Services at the then-current rates including any discounts or promotions applied, unless the Services subscription is canceled or terminated under this Agreement.

Additional sales tax may be applied where applicable.

QuickBooks Online Deposit 

The deposit added to the invoice will cover the last month of your subscription and will also serve as protection if any payment problems arise. OOTB requires a 30-day notice to cancel your subscription. Your account may be suspended or terminated if your payment and registration information is not accurate, current, and complete, and you do not notify us promptly when such information changes. *Pricing subject to change based on changes Intuit makes to its Reseller Program or the software MSRP. Additional sales tax may be applied where applicable.

QuickBooks Online Pro-Rated Billing Charges

Pro-rated amounts are charged when you setup a new discounted QuickBooks Online wholesale subscription through Out of the Box Technology on a different date to your normal billing date. For example, if your billing date is the 8th of every month and you add a new subscription after this date, you will then be charged a pro-rated amount on the 8th of the next month.

When you are billed you are billed for the month forward and thus why you get charged the pro-rated amount plus the month forward amount.

The Pro-Rated charges will vary depending on the subscription you sign up to.

The way Pro-Rated amounts are calculated is as follows:

R Amount of your subscription divided by how many days in that particular month times how many days this file has been active before your next bill date.

For Example:

If you add on a Plus subscription at R19.50 a month on the 21st of December (31 days in the month) you will be charged:

R19.50 divided by 31 days = 63 cents

63 cents times 18 (days it has been active) = R11.35 (Pro-Rated)

R11.35 + R19.50 = R30.85 – First amount you will be charged, and then moving forward you will only be charged R19.50


We reserve the right to modify this Agreement, in our sole discretion, at any time, and the modifications will be effective when posted through the terms and conditions page on our website or when we notify you by other means. We may also change or discontinue the Services, in whole or in part. It is important that you review this Agreement whenever we modify it because your continued use of the Services indicates your agreement to the modifications.

Tax Liability

Customer is liable for payment of all taxes including without limitation, state or local sales, use, value-added and personal property tax.

Returns.  Customer shall have thirty (30) days from the date of purchase during which to return, for any reason, any equipment or software for a refund of the fees paid by Customer using the following procedure only: (a) Customer must first contact Out of the Box Technology’ billing department (b) Customer must return at Customer’s expense all equipment and tangible forms of any software within such 30-day (c) Customer must destroy and uninstall all versions of the software otherwise in the possession of customer, and (d) equipment must be returned in its original packaging, and in like-new condition. Shipping and Insurance costs are not refundable.  Returns not in complete compliance with this limited return policy are not eligible for refunds and will be deemed accepted by Customer for all purposes. Damaged items, used items, opened items, or items purchased more than 30 days ago, are not eligible for a refund.
Right to refusal

We shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at an incorrect price or products that are improperly described. We shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged we will immediately issue a refund in the amount of the charge.We reserve the right to limit quantities and to reject orders at our discretion.

QuickBooks Subscription Terms of Service

Eligibility for promotional discounts is contingent upon being a first-time subscriber to QuickBooks, transitioning from a qualified version of QuickBooks or other financial management software, or registering multiple company files. Subscribers who meet these conditions shall be entitled to our exclusive subscription rates for the duration of their subscription term.

Subscribers consent to engage in a recurring billing agreement, authorizing Out of the Box Technology or Intuit to deduct the specified discounted rate from the provided account. Subscribers retain the right to terminate this agreement at any point by reaching out to Out of the Box Technology.

Please note that the manufactures Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) is subject to modification at the discretion of Intuit. Monthly fees will be calculated based on Intuis set MSRP minus applicable discounts at the time of agreement. Prices may vary with different software editions or versions. For further details or to ascertain your eligibility for discounts prior to purchase, please contact us directly.

  • Enrollment for an annual subscription for QuickBooks commits you to a 12 month term.
  • You have elected to pay your annual subscription in equal payments over the course of 12 months.
  • You must pay for all 12 months of the subscription in full based on the then-current rate.
  • If you choose to cancel inside the first 60 days, you can opt to receive a refund per the 60 day money back guarantee
  • However, if you choose to cancel after the first 60 days and prior to the end of month 12 you will be subject to a termination fee equal to the amount of monthly payments left on your annual subscription.
  • For purpose of clarity, if you cancel after 6 months and have 6 months remaining on your annual subscription, which starts at date of enrollment, you will be charged a termination fee equal to your monthly fee of your QuickBooks version multiplied by 6 months (remaining months left on annual subscription).

Product Conking

Your service begins as of the day you purchase QuickBooks and continues through to the expiration date of your subscription.  If you cancel your subscription, you will still have access to you own company file (QuickBooks Desktop), but you will no longer have access to QuickBooks and all services that are included with your subscription.


Out of the Box Technology and/or Intuit, in its sole discretion and without notice, restrict, deny, terminate this Agreement or suspend the Services, related or other Services, effective immediately, in whole or in part, if we determine that your use of the Services violates the Agreement, is improper or substantially exceeds or differs from normal use by other users, raises suspicion of fraud, misuse, security concern, change of policy or terms by Out of the Box Technology, illegal activity or unauthorized access issues, to protect the integrity or availability of the Services or systems and comply with applicable Out of the Box Technology policy, if you no longer agree to receive electronic communications, or if your use of the Services conflicts with Out of the Box Technology’s interests or those of another user of the Services. Upon Out of the Box Technology notice that your use of the Services has been terminated you must immediately stop using the Services and any outstanding payments will become due. Any termination of this Agreement shall not affect Out of the Box Technology’s rights to any payments due to it. Out of the Box Technology may terminate a free or wholesale account at any time.
