Anyone who has the slightest interest in airplanes has heard about the Experimental Aviation Association (EAA) AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI. EAA AirVenture is held annually during the last week of July, attracts hundreds of thousands of aviation enthusiasts, and is one of the premier aviation events in the world.
The EAA Warbirds of America, a division of EAA AirVenture, promotes and encourages the preservation of safe operation of ex-military aircraft. The EAA Warbirds is one of the highlights of the Oshkosh fly in. Attendees can see Warbirds up close, in the air and purchase Warbirds memorabilia.
Out Of The Box Technology assisted in the set up and training of the QuickBooks Point of Sale system in the EAA Warbirds museum at the Oshkosh event.
"It really was an honor to work with the EAA Warbirds. The group does so much to keep the country's military history airborne," said Anddrew Abrams, co-founder of Out Of The Box Technology and manager of the Wisconsin office. "And because I'm such a fan of these aircraft – well, this was one of the best jobs we could have had!"
Out Of The Box Technology installed QuickBooks Point of Sale software and hardware for the on-site museum and trained about a dozen EAA Warbirds volunteers on the system.
"The EAA Warbirds of America is truly a dedicated group of men and women! We had a great time during each process of this POS installation," said Brian Cayle, vice president of Sales and Consulting at the Out Of The Box Technology Milwaukee office.
