Facebook and Your Personal Information

Out Of The Box Technology now has a page on Facebook and we enjoy passing along "news you can use" when it comes to QuickBooks, Information Technology and other accounting technology solutions - plus our events. While there are benefits to Facebook, Richard McElroy, president of the Out Of The Box Technology affiliate in California, wanted to share some information he found recently. Take it away Richard -

"Small Businesses are looking healthier."

Dr. Susan Woodward, a nationally-recognized economist, says, “Small businesses are looking healthier. Every trend we measure – employment, hours worked, and monthly compensation – is showing signs of a recovery.

Intuit Email Scam

Wanted to get the word out about another email phishing scam - this one again intended for QuickBooks® users. The Subject Line of the email reads "Intuit Update." DO NOT DOWNLOAD anything from this email! Click here to read the email - no worries - it doesn't link to anything.

The timing of this scam email is ironic. Just last Friday in our newsletter, Richard McElroy, who leads our affiliate in California, wrote an article about emails and SPAM and offers this advice:

Small Business Owners - Be Careful Who's Helping you with SBA Loans
